New Year, New Hobby 🎨

January is already in full swing.

The year has found its rhythm, routines are settling in, and those New Year thoughts are still quietly sitting in the background. The ones about trying something new, making time for yourself, and doing more of what actually feels good.

At Paint Away Events, we see it every January.

People arrive after a long day, coats off, drinks poured, a little unsure of what to expect. Some say they are not creative. Some have not painted in years. Some are just there because a friend suggested it.

And then something shifts.

Slowly, without anyone noticing, the room comes alive. Laughter drifts across the tables, music hums in the background, and colours start to spread everywhere except where they were meant to. What began as empty canvases turn into something personal and full of feeling.

There is always a moment when someone stops, tilts their head, and says they cannot believe they made it themselves.

That moment never gets old for us.

A paint night is not really about painting. It is about switching off for a couple of hours. Doing something with your hands. Letting yourself enjoy the process without worrying about getting it right.

You do not need experience. You do not need to be artistic. You just need to turn up. We guide you step by step, but the best parts happen in between the brush strokes. The laughs. The chats. The calm that settles in without you even noticing.

We are already close to full, with only a limited number of spots left across our upcoming January dates. It happens every year. Once people decide this is the year they will finally try something new, the seats go quickly.
